Let’s be honest, running can be complicated and can be time consuming when looking for answers. Coopah is the first running app to put everything you need for a plan into one training plan. With Coopah, you get running plans which include Yoga and Strength videos along with a club chat function where you can connect with members who have similar goals or even ask Physio or Nutrition questions. This means no more searching google but instead finding the answers in one easy to use app. 

Avoid injury

One of the main reasons people don’t hit their goals is because of injury.  This can be from a range of things such as overtraining, not stretching, missing strength. With the app, we ensure you hit the right mileage whilst doing the right range of sessions to ensure you get faster, strong and hopefully avoid injury.  


Specific Training

When training for a goal, too many people just do the same thing e.g. run at the same pace all the time.  This not only leads to injury but it also doesn’t help make you faster as we discussed in our earlier blog around interval sessions. We add in tempos, speed sessions and long slower runs to ensure your body recovers enough to hit your sessions with 100% effort every time. 

Adaptable training

Our plans are broken into three phases to ensure you build up your stamina:

  1. Base Phase

  2. Strength phase

  3. Speed phase

Base phase - This phase is all about building up some base level fitness that will allow you to tackle the harder sessions going forward. 

Strength Phase - This part of the plan is going to give you the strength to push through the final third of the race. The miles will start creeping up and the sessions will get harder, but this is where you'll start to see some big improvements. 

Speed Phase - ​​This period is all about getting you to hit that race pace. You may still feel that you are a way from running the whole distance at race pace but don't worry you'll perform very differently after finishing this period, taking some time to rest and having the adrenaline of a race.

One of the most important parts of the Coopah app is our machine learning which ensures that you run at the pace you are currently at.  With Coopah, we take the data you input into the app and our smart tech adjusts the pace you should be running at to ensure that your plan is forever adapting.
