FAQs
-
To be in with a chance to win race entry, entrants need register on the form above, download Coopah, the Run Coaching App and complete a 10km or half marathon plan that finishes before 26th January 2025.
You’ll complete the plan by completing the training sessions created in the app by associating training data with each session and on the last day of your plan, when your 10km or half marathon is scheduled, completing that target event and entering your final time via the app.
Upon registration on the app, you’ll be asked to set up a plan and select a goal, that’s where you’ll choose a your target distance to run, either 10km or half marathon, and ensure that it finishes before the final completion date.
Coopah has created specific “events” which you can choose from the event selector when you’re creating a plan. Look for “Coopah Marathon Club Challenge 10km” or “Coopah Marathon Club Challenge Half”. Or if you’d rather, you can choose to create a plan around the goal “Run a target time” and create your own 10km or half marathon target date.
If you are doing this please ensure your target date is on or before 26.01.2025 to be part of the challenge.
-
There is one (1) race entry on offer via the Coopah Marathon Club Challenge.
-
If you fall ill or become injured and so cannot complete the sessions as scheduled, please reach out to the coaching team who will be happy to help - Coopah has built the plans with injury mitigation in mind with structured and personalised run and cross training yet injuries can still happen. In many cases it would be possible to recover and then pick up where you left off and any missed sessions not count against your challenge progress, as long as this is communicated at the time your injury or sickness started to prevent you from training.
-
Coopah is staffed by expert coaches. They will plan out every easy, long, tempo and interval run for you to do for the duration of the training plan. They will add in yoga, and strength and conditioning sessions to support your training, provide you with training tips and advice throughout your training, and be available through the app 24/7 for motivation and to field any of your training related questions.
-
